The Computerworld Excellence Awards will not be taking place this year in their traditional format due to the economic climate. We would like to take the opportunity to thank our loyal partners – Simpl and Information Technology Contract and Recruitment Association (ITCRA) – who started the 2009 Excellence Awards journey with us.
Although we are not running the full Awards programme this year, we are proceeding with five single Awards:

The winners of the inaugural Business Analyst of the Year Award and Emerging Business Analyst of the Year Award for 2009 were announced at a cocktail function at Te Papa, Wellington on Monday, 30 November.
The winner of the Business Analyst of the Year Award is: Jody Bullen of Animal Health Board
The winner of the Emerging Business Analyst of the Year Award is: Kathryn Gillespie of SKYCITY Entertainment Group

Excellence in the Use of ICT in Government Award
Computerworld is delighted to announce the winner of the Excellence in the Use of ICT in Government award for 2009.
It is the Department of Corrections for the Cellular Phone Jamming project.
