Former CA executives still to be sentenced
By David Watson | Auckland | Thursday, 14 September, 2006
The sentencing of former CA executives Stephen Richards and Sanjay Kumar has been delayed until October 12 for Kumar and October 16 for Richards, a spokesman for the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York says.
Computerworld understands the deferment from the original sentencing date of September 12 was made after submissions from Kumar and Richards' lawyers. The pair pleaded guilty in April to fraud and obstruction of justice charges relating to falsely stating the timing of software sales in order to meet quartlerly earnings targets.
