Kiwi cloud-based service management provider Beetil has been acquired by Citrix for an undisclosed sum, according to statements from both companies.
Beetil has been developed by Wellington-based dev shop YouDo.
According to Citrix the acquisition will expand the capabilities of its GoToAssist cloud service desk product.
“Beetil’s services are a natural complement to Citrix cloud-based IT support tools. The design is elegant, simple and meets the needs of technicians and end users alike,” says Brett Caine, online services general manager at Citrix.
On its blog, Beetil says the acquisition will give the company access to more resources including engineers, designers and quality assurance staff.
Dan Lee, Beetil CEO, will now report directly to Citrix's GM of IT support products.
