Inland Revenue plans to implement Aruba for its wi-fi solution.
IRD says that as part of its contract with TelstraClear it details its specific business requirements for specific telecommunications services, and TelstraClear provides the appropriate services to match.
“TelstraClear will supply wi-fi services from Aruba to meet our business needs,” IRD says.
TelstraClear spokesman Gary Bowering says the telco looks at customer requirements on a case by case basis and provides the solution that best meets needs.
He would not comment on timing, benefits or return on investment.
TelstraClear was been sold to Vodafone last month, however the two companies are expected to operate as separate companies for the next six months, with the full merger completed in 18 months.
