Greg Bickerton has resigned in unexplained circumstances

Techtonics CEO Greg Bickerton has resigned in unexplained circumstances.

Bickerton, who has been in the role for four and a half years, confirmed his resignation to Computerworld but says any further comment has to come from the company’s chairman, John Fletcher.

Fletcher says the board reluctantly accepted the resignation. Company founder Ross Bidmead will take over as the interim CEO, he says.

When questioned about rumours of other management team changes, Fletcher says he won’t comment any further. Bidmead was not available for comment because of a family bereavement.

Techtonics specialises in document and enterprise content management.

Prior to taking up the role at Techtonics Bickerton was group manager for sales south at TelstraClear, and he has held senior roles with Synergy, Ericsson Communications and Unisys.
